Meet Melvin Alonzo Morales
Melvin is a second-generation producer, following in the footsteps of his father, Oscar Omar Alonzo. Wanting to honor Oscar’s success, Melvin took over Finca Californeo, renaming it Finca Californeo Jr. Using the same organic land practices that led to Oscar’s success, Melvin continues these practices, producing outstanding coffees every year. After knowing Oscar for 14 years, we’ve seen Mevlin grow up to be the producer he is today. This year will be the seventh year of working together.
