Description
Mexico Chiapas Altura is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Cooperativa de Producción Tzeltal-Tzotzil. An organization operating in the northern part of Chiapas, Mexico. Exceptional care is taken by producers to depulp, ferment, and dry their coffee. All of which is made possible by farm-owned micro mills. Farms from this organization tend to be less than ten acres in size and produce honey as well as coffee. Farm owners and producers heavily focus on organic production methods to protect the environment, increase overall quality, and gain higher income. All of which improve the livelihood of their families and communities.
